1. Shichi-nin no Samurai - a masterpiece of Kurosawa; 3 hours long movie that worth every minutes spent watching.
2. Leon - my first encounter with Luc Besson's movies. This movie has it all: outstanding cinematic shoots, hypnotizing songs, great casts & performance (Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, Natalie Portman), and one story i'm eager to follow untill the end.
3. The Pest - numbing stupid ridiculous comedy that shows the true potential of latin actor John Leguizamo.

Three Places I have Lived:

1. Garut, West Java- Indonesia; where I was born and live for some times.
2. Bandung, West Java - Indonesia; where I spent most of my youth life.
3. Jakarta, DKI - Indonesia; starting from Y2K, no better city to work (not life) in Indonesia.

Three TV Shows that I watch:

1. The West Wing - Superbly picture the politics in a witty and lively fashion.
2. Kitchen Nightmares - Its fun seeing how Gordon Ramsay hack n' slash a near-death restaurant but giving them a well deserved second-chance afterward.
3. Scrubs - Superb comedy about the life of Medical Doctors and Nurses in dealing with the crazy life of hospital work.

Three Places I have been:

Three of my Favorite Foods:

1. Tutug Oncom, a Sundanese special
2. Sashimi, especially Maguro and Mekajiki

Mmm 'kay... berhubung bisa nebeng nginternet di depan kantor polisi, maka gw berkewajiban untuk bikin tulisan ini, terkait timpukan seorang teman, soal record2an.

1. Records that changed your life

Wedding record, setelah yang satu itu produced, wuihh!.... dunia langsung jungkir balik lah.

2. Records you've listened more than once

- Veronica dan saudari2 sesama penunggu mailbox
- Pengumuman kalau film telah dimulai, saat gw masih diluar bioskop
- Jingle dari Walls, Susu KPBS, dan agen2 hipnotis keliling lainnya
- 95% lagu yang pernah gw dengerin sejak gw balita

3. Records that you just don't understand

Musik Jazz. Sedari jaman kuliah dulu gw suka kagum sama para seniors yang ngerjain TA sambil dengerin musik jazz. Seandainya gw pribadi yang berada pada posisi sedemikian rupa, tentu perhatian gw akan terbagi antara pengen berusaha keras ngerjain TA, atau melakukan hal-hal non produktif untuk sekedar ngilangin rasa sakit dari siksaan tersebut, misalnya, kabur keluar kampus nyari warung indomie. Di rumah sendiri, bokap lebih suka nyetel Procol Harum, atau Led Zeppelin dibanding Lee Ritenour.

Sampe ke masa-masa dewasa pun kalo ada temen yang nekad ngajak gw nonton live show jazz, 90% kasusnya adalah gw ketiduran di tengah-tengah performance.

Ajaibnya, gw nikahin one of them.

4. Records that made you laugh

"Wayang Asep"; rekaman audio dari pertunjukan wayang golek Asep Sunandar Sunarya, disiarin di radio AM jauh di malam hari saat susah tidur. Maklum, anak Bandung...

5. Records that made you cry

Banyak sih, tapi salahsatunya adalah announcement yang nyuruh "please watch your step while exciting". Bener, kalo kita lagi gembira (exciting), sampe jingkrak-jingkrak misalnya, maka harus tetep merhatiin langkah. Tapi siapa juga se-euphoria itu tiap kali bis Trans Jakarta nyampe halte pemberhentian?

6. Records that creeps the hell out of you

Mirip sama pelempar tongkat estafet ini ma gw; rekaman Sanggar Cerita yang judulnya "Kuda Kayu Turangga" (or close). Sound effect yang dipake tiap kali ceritanya si kuda ini muncul, bikin mules dan merinding karena "serasa mimpi buruk" kalo ngutip ungkapan favorit isteri. Padahal si kuda adalah tokoh protagonis yang berusaha meraih simpati publik, bukan sejenisnya dedemit atau keluarganya mak Lampir. Nggak heran kalo publik dalam cerita benci sama ni kuda.

7. Records you wish had never been made

Samsons, memporak-porandakan image gw terhadap salahsatu tokoh jagoan legendaris jaman karuhun.

8. Records that you've just listened

Lagu-lagu di nomer 3, karena gak mungkin di tengah perjalanan harus ninggalin isteri dan mertua di mobil, karena mobil gw gak punya autopilot. Sementara mereka semua gak ada yang bisa nyetir.

9. Records You've been meaning to buy (...or steal)

Salahsatu band yang lagi naek daun, takut kepergok sepupu sewaktu lagi dengerin versi bajakannya.
